Stories about #TeachingAbroad – Volunteering in #Vietnam

Recently staff at ATI received word from Alumni Greg Klock who is volunteer teaching in Vietnam. Here’s his story:

“We have been very busy, my wife Nga and I, setting up the charity school In Dong Nai province, Vietnam I spoke with you about recently. I’m happy to say that we have completed building a schoolhouse and enrolled over 200 low income or poor children to who we are teaching conversational English with an emphasis on them procuring better jobs in the future. The neighborhood we have selected is largely one of working class people, and absent this skill many young children would face very limited prospects for their future. Of course receiving my teaching certification degree from your Institute is what set me on the path towards establishing this project. I’ve enclosed some pictures for you to hopefully enjoy and share with your fellow staff. Happy Holidays, Greg”
