In Thailand, long-tailed macaque monkeys are free to roam around the city of Lopburi, and enter public areas and buildings. They are thought to bring good luck, and a Monkey Banquet, also know as the Monkey Buffet,\u00a0 begins in November to celebrate these creatures. A feast is held in their honor where chefs prepare rice, ice cream and other cuisines for the monkeys. The macaques are then invited to come dine, and after dinner the monkeys descend into debauchery with a full blown food fight.
