The Cu Chi Tunnels<\/em>: Since 1975, the Cu Chi Tunnels are preserved as memorial parks. You can crawl through some of the safer areas, see command centers, and examine booby traps. It is said that about 45,000 men and woman died defending these tunnels during the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n

Ha Long Bay<\/em>: Next, set your sites on the eighth natural wonder of the world, HaLong Bay, which is covered in thousands of limestone islands of various sizes and shapes. It lies along the 120-km coastline of the Bai Chay Beach. Riddled with folk tales of how the islands came to be, several have beautiful grottoes and caves with hidden ponds and chambers. The waters of Ha Long Bay also host a variety of ecosystems.<\/p>\n

Eco-news<\/em>: On October 17, 2014 a 53 million USD project to help Vietnam develop an eco-industrial park model was officially launched. It is said to be a three-year project, and will be taken on in Hanoi, northern Ninh Binh province, central Da Nang city and southern Can Tho city. The goal is to transform current industrial parks into eco-industrial parks, while applying advanced technology to save energy, and reduce hazardous waste and carbon emissions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
