TESOL Worldwide - Teach English in Songdo-dong
Songdo International Business District is a smart city in South Korea, also known as a ubiquitous city, built so humans can interact with their environment in more sustainable ways. With over 60,000 residents, it’s impressive that 40% of Songdo is devoted to green spaces, and cars are not necessary to navigate. One of the most impressive environmental upgrades to Songdu is the waste management system, and how easy it is to recycle. Dump trucks and trash bags are not needed in the city, as every kitchen has a built in pneumatic trash shoot that funnels garbage to a central waste processing center.
