TESOL Worldwide - Teach English in Hacienda, Kenya
The Hacienda eco city project in Mombasa is on track to be Kenya’s first self-sustaining development. Although some parts are still under construction, this planned community is utilizing eco-technology to preserve the environment and live comfortably. All of Hacienda’s energy is sourced from solar or wind, and rainwater is collected for residential use. Hacienda’s futuristic development has a school, and over 10,000 trees have been planted to provide fresh air. Residents also do their part by helping with construction, and utilizing bike paths throughout the city. Consider teaching English in Kenya if you want to help educate a unique and developing eco-friendly country.
