Program Dates:

TESOL New York Program Objectives:
  • Examine and analyze the core knowledge of teaching English as a second language.
  • Create ESL lesson plans.
  • Assess and compare methods and approaches to TESOL.
  • Facilitate successful communication in a cross-cultural learning environment.

  • New York city is unlike any other city in the world. The New York skyline has evolved over the years, and the One World Trade Center is set for completion in 2013. New York is a melting pot for hundreds of cultures, and the city's multilingual population will expose you to a wide variety of accents and speech patterns.

    TESOL New York Accommodations:

It is ATI's goal to make sure that every student has a pleasant, enjoyable, and comfortable stay during the training. There are a variety of housing types available to course participants.

Private Room (Near the Institute): Accommodation consists of a single room with shared bathroom. The rooms are simple, offering what you need. You will have your key, and you can come and go whenever you want. Those rooms are with a family. Current rate: US $500/4 weeks.

Hostels: Whoever likes the never-sleeping Manhattan should consider a hostel bed. They are available in form of private rooms (approx. US $80/night), double rooms (approx. US $50/night), and multi-dorm bedroom (starting US $20/night). As New York is a popular vacation spot, you'll meet people from around the world there. To read more about hostels in New York, please look at www.hostels.com. This site will give you detailed information, including reviews of people who lived there.

Hotel Rooms: Hotels offer you the convenience of having your own room with private bathroom. There are different star-ratings available around the institute or around the Times-Square area. A room in an inexpensive motel in the neighborhood of the institute may start at US $80/night. The same accommodation may cost double or even triple downtown. As hotel rooms change prices frequently, we will have to obtain quotes.

In order to discuss your accommodation needs with us, please contact American TESOL. There is a service charge of US $150 for organizing the housing.
