Shelly: Tatjana, thank you for joining us! To start, can you tell us about a landmark in Vranje that visitors absolutely must see?

Tatjana: Definitely! Przar Hill is a must-visit landmark in Vranje. It’s a beautiful area that offers stunning panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. It’s also a great spot for hiking and enjoying nature. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a place to explore, Przar Hill is a favorite among both locals and visitors.

Shelly: What are some popular local dishes that visitors should try in Vranje?

Tatjana: One dish you can’t miss is Samsa. It’s a delicious pastry made with thin layers of dough, filled with cheese, meat, or sometimes spinach. It’s a staple in local cuisine and perfect for a quick snack or a hearty meal. Pair it with a glass of local rakija (fruit brandy) for the full experience!

Shelly: What’s an activity that your English learners particularly enjoy?

Tatjana: One activity that my students absolutely love is talking to native speakers. It’s such a valuable experience for them, as it helps improve their confidence and fluency. We often arrange cultural exchanges or online meetups with native English speakers, which allows them to practice in a real-world context. The excitement and enthusiasm they show during these sessions are truly inspiring!
