Known to locals as “paradise on earth” many love teaching English in Suzhou. This is a peaceful and quiet alternative to the busier cities of China and is located in Eastern China, 90 minutes away from Shanghai. Often referred to as the Venice of China because 42% of the city is covered in water makes this a naturally beautiful place to wander around.
It is home to the silk industry so there are still plenty of teaching jobs available.
