On April 27th, people in Amsterdam wear orange in honor of King’s Day, the birthday of King Willem-Alexander of the House of Orange. The “vrijmarkt,” one of world’s largest flea markets, is organized and anyone can sell their goods. A parade of brightly decorated boats is held on the canals. Djs play live music on the streets.
