Teaching English abroad will introduce you to new cultures and traditions. If you teach English abroad in India, then you do not want to miss the Holi festival, which is the “Festival of colors.” During this week long festival, people splatter each other with colored powder in celebration of good over evil. There is music, dancing, and more. The Holi festival will take place throughout India starting in March 2017. The most traditional Holi festivals are in Mathura and Vrindavan, near Delhi. To find out more about this festival, check out the Holi 2017 Essential Guide.
