Celebrating Pasola in Indonesia

Indonesia is an exotic place where you can see Orangutans and Komodo Dragons. The people are friendly and you can experience many cultural events. On the beautiful island of Sumba you can watch the Pasola War Festival. This famous festival takes place this year in February during the 20th and 21st. The festival has two teams of Sumbanese men who fight each other on horseback with spears. The men are in costume and ride colorful decorated horses.
