Recently we invited language teacher Ana Strainovic to introduce us to Belgrade, Serbia.
Shelly: Which events are a must for visitors?
Ana Strainovic: It is a must to visit Belgrade. It is an ancient city, but so modern. It tries hard to preserve traditions, yet is very advanced. In one city, you can see history older than five centuries and enjoy the best experience in the Balkan, maybe even Europe.
Shelly: What are popular local dishes?
Ana Strainovic: Definitively, barbecue is the most popular.
Shelly: Describe activities your English learners enjoy!
Ana Strainovic: Since I teach English in an online English school (BIBO Global Opportunity), my students enjoy talking about cultures. They travel a lot due to their business and enjoy sharing their experiences and discoveries about other cultures.
Ana Strainovic graduated from the Philology high school in 2010 (English and Japanese language) and was awarded with a CAE last year. Since 2010, she has worked as an English tutor and translator. She adores her job. Currently, she is studying Security and International Relations.
