Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an island nation in the Caribbean Sea, is comprised of the main island of Saint Vincent and a chain of smaller Grenadine islands. Saint Vincent, the largest island, features a volcanic spine dominated by the active La Soufrière volcano. Lush rainforests blanket the mountainous interior, while the coastline offers a mix of black sand beaches and sheltered bays. The Grenadines, extending southwards, are primarily composed of low-lying coral islands and cays, surrounded by vibrant coral reefs and turquoise waters.
